Question on dog training(my yellow lab)
I have an AKC atta boy yellow male 8 months old, he has about 28 field trial champs on *his sire's side and about 26 on his dam's side. He has senior, master, junior hunters all threw out it. He has the brains for the training. I have him doing all the commands I give him. He will sit, down, off(lay down), find it(search) like for a treat in high grass or blood, he is learning heel. Vitamin Supplement
I think he just needs some extra vitamins. Maybe Vitamin "38" LMAO

You need to remember he is a pup. Take it slow and be patient.

Thats what my cousin told me to Jay, he is a k9 officer and he said to chill he is a puppy. Also I know alot of people that have used the shock collar and they worked on there dog. Oh and Ducktricker, he knows his name and what come means but when people are around or another dog around its like he forgets. But when its me and him and nothing around he is fine.

Deerfarmer you aint right. But I do know a certain poodle that it would be fun to watch eat a 7 mag bullet.

I tried the pinch collar....thats a NO. He shut down fast, he wouldnt do anything. He is doing good with a regular collar. Just have to get him to come and he will be a very Lab. He knows all other commands but that one. I know, weird huh. HAHA

Good Advice
Ducktrickster, by far the best most effective adive I have seen anywhere. Don't care how long you've been out of the training scene. The principles don't change.

Yup, dis guy knows what he talking about. You cannot teach a dog anything with a shock collar. |
Most people i see that are having problems with their dog just dont give the dog enuff patience and try other tools that just mess the dog up. They think a dog gonna learn stuff way to fast and they just get frustrated with them. Traing a dog takes a lot of time and patience and some people just cant handle it IMO.
