Trout & Good Weather
 

First off it was a very nice day on the water we were blessed with today. Ray and I fished in Turners and on the outskirts of Turners today and the water looked good and was clear. The water temp was about 55 and 57 degrees in some places. We ended the day with 20 trout and one red. I was using the morning glory TTF Hackberry hustler and Ray used a LSU color and also a Salty grub. Went out fishing and looking around the lake due to how clear and calm the lake was today.. I think we did more riding than fishing. All in all a great day to be on the water and as always I was outfitted by this little place in Sulphur called The Tackle Box.

It was a nice day ..... Ol wilieE fish was with me this am.... We didn't want to mess with boats up north so I went to a reef in the lake and we caught our 30 by 9am....then went to channel to wait for the tide to come in.... Never came like we wanted so we headed In and I dropped Donnie off and went back solo..... When the sun hit the horizon I was on 5lb trout every cast...lost a real nice trout that hit me at the boat and jumped half way out the water and my manic mullet flew out......fish until hour after dark and caught at least 20 trout all over 4lbs with biggest about 5.5 on bogs....

Never caught that many big trout that fast on one trip....last trout I caught was pitch black dark ......freaken crazy stupid...... I'm not going back until tomorrow at 5pm

U gonna need to borrow a boat to get around know. After what witnessed yesterday ; u diffently need to start fishn in different boats. It was really unbelievable.
