Big Lake

Planning to take my dad and brother on a guided trip to Big Lake as a Christmas present. When would the best, post Christmas, time be to set up a trip?

Thanks in advance

I'd like to recommend Jared Adams, he's great to fish with and will bust his tail putting you on fish. Very nice guy to fish with and knows the lake like the back of his hand. You'll have a very nice trip with him, but he's pretty popular, so you don't need to wait till the last minute.

Good luck!

Jared I want to apologize ahead of time.

I can't help myself, I can't resist.

SaltyShaw or Capt. B if either are available. Both are jam up dudes.

"W" 12-13-2011 10:35 PM

Yep Josh Johnson is one of the best on the lake hands down.....only a few could hang with him day in and day out catching fish
.... I have seen it over and over for years...he is two stalls down from where I clean my fish...

huntin fool 12-13-2011 10:51 PM

Josh Johnson... Brent Slusher... Chris Bruno...

All good people. And so are all the other guides mentioned in this thread I'm sure. Didn't take time to read them all

"THOSE DAYS" will humble you and build character all @ the same time!!! Your only as good as the folks in ya boat!!! We as guides have to remember it's not abt us anymore it's abt that customer.........tuff days will happen.....but you still have to entertain on those not so perfect days.....thats when the cream will rise!!!

mriguy 12-14-2011 08:20 PM

Congrats on the new business venture, have a website yet?

mcjaredsandwich 12-14-2011 08:36 PM

I haven't met Jared, heard he is a good guide plus he's got the same name as me so he can't be a bad guy :D

I have fished several times with SaltyShaw. Great guy, good laughs on the boat, caught a limit damn near every time. He will go out of his way and I highly recommend him if you wanna have a good time!
