flounder and Reds!!!

Brought my dad and my brother and his two boys fishing on Saturday, we fished the ship channel down by the ferry next to some dock and we were on the flounder like crazy...we were using a storm swim shad. then headed down towards the jetties and wore out the reds with dead shrimp on a red jig head. We were having to measure them because they were to big. We had several break our lines and most of them were 24 to 30 inches... well any way we all had a blast and cant wait to go back!!!

That's funny because I sure burnt up my filet knife cleaning all these fish!
Here is a picture of one of the flounder next to my knife so you can see how big they were, they were wider than my knife!

yeah that filet knife would be hurting on them reds alone.... I got to the point to where i dont keep them monsta reds just for the sake of my hand and my knife.... but they are fun as heck!

Nice catch! and the fillet knife shouldn't burn up if you cut the stomach out first then cut the filets off. a lot less stress on the motor and cut slower. I clean flounder with a 7in filet knife (not electric) works the best for me.
