at the risk of putting this thread back on track..

the BOB and up north are still really good. went on saturday and sunday. partners and i and caught well over a hundred bass over both days.

mcjared came along with me on saturday. i caught 31 with 3 specks and 2 reds for the sabine slam while jared kept pace with me, boating 28 bass and a couple reds. a few came on weightless soft plastics wacky rigged but most bit shad colored 100 series bandits and kvd 1.5 cranks. wind picked up about 11 and we were pulling off the water by 12.

sunday the warmer nighttime temps moved my fish to steeper drop-offs. we pitched and flipped florida rigged speed craws to catch about 50 bass and a few reds and trout mixed in.

i'm not catching much size but the numbers make up for it! :D
