Moss Lake to I-10 bridge 11/10/2011
 

Fished with Tightline11 today. We hit his holes that he been catching in, but the winds were tearing us up. We caught a few on red and white Spook Jr. topwater in Moss Lake, skunked in Haymark, hit the North Beach in Lake Charles and hooked up a couple more, then nothing for almost an hour fishing all over Lake Charles. Saw a bass boat with 3 guys on it that got stuck on the old island just South of I-10. They were out of the boat pushing towards the channel.
Moved to Prien area and found some Trout picking here and there. Then found the mother load right in the middle of the channel. They were hitting on white TKO shrimp under a popping cork. Finished our limit around 10:30 and left them biting.
30 Trout, 2 Reds and 1 Striper.

catch the striper by the barrier?? past the locks? I loaded up on em in white oak 3 weeks ago.

By the I-10 bridge. L.C. Yacht Club. This is the 5th one I caught in 3 weeks.

Saltwater must not bother them. It is pretty salty up there.
