10/9 top water slingin
Popped up out of bed at 5 this morning with no plan on fishing because of the winds...I couldnt go back to sleep so decided to make a solo quick trip...Hit the water at 6:30 and from the first throw it was on....All fish were caught on topwater...One of the funnest days Ive had by myself and to be all on topwater was awsome...The winds didnt slow em down at all they kept knocking every which way till they ended up in the chest...heres a few pics from the day:

We need to make a trip again latt....this coming weekend im gonna bring my lil boy and see if he can snatch his first trout...or anything else that will bite...we will go smoke em soon...was supposed to go yest but my wife had a last minute client that she didnt tell me about and this am just hopped up and said wth...jumped in the boat and was gone.... |

Glad you got to go this weekend. I went to sabine this am with jedi lure. We kept a red, a bass and 8 or so trout. No real size to trout, bite shut off at 930 or so. We caught ours on pop-rs and texas rigged plastics. What did you throw today? |

Nothing but the SKITTERWALK....was on like donkey kongs....blow ups darn near every throw.....
Sorry we couldnt go yesterday i was HOT:pissed:...and didnt plan on it today but it happened...lol. |
