During my time here at SC, I have heard a few times about a story involving you and a container of gulp fluid. Well it came up during a conversation about gulp on our boat during the tourny. I was wondering what the details of this story were if anyone cares to shine some light on it. Somethin about a oil slick for a mile or somethin.....what was it?:D

Lmao.....this was classic....dink said he had a secret weapon...it was a 2gallon bucket of gulp chum.... He poured it out in the water....and made a 5 mile slick across big lake....and Zero fish!!!! Lmao

Best Dink Story ever..... Back in the day...it was about 3 maybe 4 years ago...Bruce w and I made a Fri trip and smoked the trout all on Catch 2000s...so we decided to go back Sat Morning...dink was making a trip that morning with a buddy.....well sun came up we started smashing trout....dink called us about 8 and said where are yall...we had our limit so we told him to come over.....he pulled up and had a mirrodine on..I said Tim but a catch 2000...he said this Mirrodine willl work....I was catching trout while they were tided up to us.....we would throw at his motor and catch a trout.....Tim stuck to that Mirrodein..and when we called him later.... They caught 2 flounder all day...Lmao..we must of caught 80 trout by 10am

I think that is the only time he every caught a few trout!!:rotfl::work:

Catch 2000 out fishes a Mirrodine 7 to 1 all day everyday...cast for cast.....I proved that on several fishing trips over the years.....

that was the evening i saw the most birds working that i've ever seen, basically one big flock of birds and trout covering the entire north half of the lake

I can't believe you caught any trout, Timmy, with that citrus cork setup you show in the last picture!! First of all, you can get better distance casting with an unweighted cork than a weighted one. Secondly, steel leader and a swivel???OMG!! Now I know YOU HAVE TO COME DOWN HERE and get a Fishing for Specks 101 onboard seminar. If I can't improve your hook ratio, make you cast farther, and catch bigger specks, I'll donate $1,000 to your favorite charity!

You let me know when you can have a couple of days and not only will I give you a Specks Onboard Seminar, but pay you $100/day as my deckhand for as long as you want to "hang" with room and board included!

Capt, thats the way the H&H cork setup comes. All you have to do is attach your favorite bait. I put the weight to help the bait sink back through the cork after popping it. Thats one of the reasons I asked about Fish seeing the steel leader. As for coming down there, It may be difficult these days with the kids and the one on the way and all, But I'll let you know, thanks for the offer!!!
