I have no idea how or why it started. There is a Facebook page called Planking in Acadiana or some crap like that and if you have kids, you will here about it. So I am listening to all their stories and start looking at the pictures of people "plankin", and for some reason I started laughing looking at all the crazies, climbing things to plank. Best one I have seen so far is the guy on top of the Taco Bell in Lafayette. Again, not sure why, but I laugh at them.
We had some friends of ours on Bourbon this weekend for a party trip and these old folks got it going on! Almost peed myself looking at their "plankin" photos. Bar stool, girl/girl double plankin', shoulder plankin' the bell hop.......pretty funny if you know the people doing it. I will post the picture of the "dual Yamaha plankin' in the GoM" later today! |

Started years ago over in Europe and made its way here. Several people have died from it, but I think it's pretty funny. But there's a fine line between funny and stupid. I wouldn't be out there on the rig's rail and planking, or in the middle of the road
