Long sleeve shirts

Whats the best long sleeve shirt to wear and stay cool in the summer?

I'm not talking about Columbia, Magellon etc. fishing shirts with the buttons, just a long sleeve shirt.

Thanks

Extra light moisture wicking shirts. Like a Nike or Reebok work out shirt.

Academy in lafayette has them...im sure they do in your area. I know what you mean about not looking at them before buying. I bought 2 saltycajun shirts in the normal size I wear and they are too small.

I wear a loose fitting camo shirt that I wear bowhunting in the early season. Keeps my cool. Its kinda like a loose under armor/mesh type fabric. HMM turns out its polyester.

During bow season I wear the long sleeve loose fitting Under Armour shirts. It's almost like wearing nothing at all they're so light. I also have the Columbia short sleeve t-shirts that are pretty much the same thing so I would probably get some long sleeve ones like that if I were looking to get something to go fishing in.

Hook n tackle shirts are very comfortable shirts. I like them alot also, but the omni is lighter, and a little cooler. Omni wicks moisture away, and the others such as H&T or an original Columbia/ Megellan absorbes the sweat, and then it sticks to you.:)

Haha....all my other shirts the same size fit just fine. Some shirts run smaller or bigger depending on the brand of the shirt.

These look kick ***!!!!!! Wish they sold them around here.

iron man 06-09-2011 12:42 AM

I've actually been wearing that shirt I was talking about all day. Cut grass PUSHING the lawn mower and didn't really get hot at all. It is an Outfitter's Ridge 100% polyester. It is also kind of water proof. Hope this helps

Yea, they are a good little company out of California. They are the same company as pelagic clothing. They do online orders through the website. Never had a problem with them, they are one of the sponsors of the LSU fishing team.
