Vermillion Bay/ Marsh island
 

Anyone on here fishes Vermillion bay/ Marsh island and beyond? Don't see many reports comming from that end. Guess it's better in other areas?

I fish the area,not as much as I use to. I enjoy fishing inside of marsh island,very little or no crowds.

Was out there Saturday. We did ok if you like croaker. But managed a Red some gafftop and a few crabs.

I'll be inside the island first thing Sat. morning. Hoping to land a few nice reds. It will be nice to fish without such a strong wind! Past few trips were rough.

water is dirty. went out sat to the pass saw a few people at diamond. came back to the point on the east side to a spot called ni**er beach picked up a few reds then called it a day. not to much to report.

Won't be out this Weekend heading to NOLA Friday and it's off to Gulf Shores Sat for the week!!!!! Hopefully I can give a report from there...

Oh yea! OFF doesnt stand a chance against those ta ty's out there. I've been going a couple times a month and haven't done to bad. A few reds and flounder here and there. Im keeping my hopes high for this weekend to be better though. Not sure which I rather, the butt whooping in the boat ride back and fourth or the gnats to carry my butt away! lol.

I fish this area alot. Waters dirty all the way to Verm. 52. With the river reseeding the water may get good out there in 2-3 weeks.

If every any of you guys are looking for someone to tag along, let me know. I just sold my boat last week so I'll be bumming trips from here on out til I can convince the wife that I need another one. I'll put the gas!

Still undecided. Real fun rodeo but, a bachelor party in grand isle seems a little more tempting. Lol.

Yea I hear that. Me and tucker been going alot. Like I said, a few fish hear and there nothing much to brag about. Been hearing a few "fishing stories" from a few buddies of mine, and if all is true, sounds like things are starting to look up for us. I'll let everyone know how the weekend goes. Any reports would help!

Heard a few weeks ago they killed em outside the pass on the reefs...It was before all the dirty water moved in though
