Big Lake 5/26/11
 

My four year old and I were able to get out on the water today. We hit fish right off the bat then I noticed my boat was still moving. My Talon is broken, I should have purchased another power pole.

We just kept drifting back over the reef we were fishing, a two man limit would have been easy with an anchor. We ended the day with around 25 trout and a redfish. We had a great time and he drove us back to the camp, it good to be on the water with my little guy....

We cheated, all fish were caught on live shrimp under a Cajun Thunder

YOu are TOO damn lucky to have a beautiful little girl to teach to fish in a few more yrs. Enjoy now, they grow up fast.

Fishing in the morning and night and then leaving Saturday morning.

Can't beat some quality time on the water with family, and catching some nice fish to boot.

I stopped by Casey Camp yesterday to drop off a few things and meet his little boy. That's a fishing machine!! Lol...all he wanted toi talk about was his fish! Then he didn't want us to leave until he showed me how he can throw his pole!!! He was chucking that sucker across the canal lmao!! Good family !
