Had some time today to tinker with a prototype mold that's been in the works for the last several months - this is actually version 3, with several more versions sketched out on paper.

Making baits in the garage is a painful addiction…

The baits are 4.5". I can make almost any color. Laminates are tough, but can be done. Just a very slow process until I get my larger production molds in...

Chris, I can try my best. The oil can you guys are referring to is a core shot. I can't do core shots with my mold but if you find another color that is close I can match it. Color options are just about endless...

Here's a pic from the first time I ever fished with one a couple of months ago. First fish caught on the bait went a little over 4. Not a bad way to break it in.

how much you sell them for? and custom colors?

Right now I am not charging as I am waiting on my larger production molds to get in. Until that time I couldn't even begin to set a price given the amount of time it takes to make them with my prototype mold.

If you want some samples and have a color in mind let me know. We may just end up selling them on our website on a custom basis.

If you can spare a couple samples I would love to try them out. If you got something that will work in muddy water of the coast that would work.

Been out of town but had some time last night to play around with a few of the requested colors. My camera on my phone doesn't do the colors justice, but colors from top are as follows:

• Bone
• Natural Shrimp
• Gold Rush
• Oil Stain

Received pricing on my new molds so hopefully they will be available soon.

In honor of an insider SC joke, I think I am going to name the bait, the Poptail :D

Thanks guys. The poptail started out strong for us yesterday and Gold Rush was one of the colors I threw.

I owe several people baits and will get on it - been outta town with my "real job".

What about glow with a red flake or a silver flake?

One step ahead of you on the glow with silver flake/chartreuse tail. I have a separate tail mold to inject different colors. Working on a laminate as well...

Man all 4 of those colors are legit!! No worries brotha when I get em I get em and then ill be able to provide plenty of proof they work ......... Hopefully haha
