that happened to us countless times Saturday!! After a few times, I asked one feller if his trolling motor was broken. He said "No"......clueless!!

Can you blame the guy if he does not have knowledge of the reef your fishing...I understand if he cuts your drift though...

Yes...because if he did not know there was a reef there and why the hell did he stop ...and with miles of water and clear sky's he saw my boat a mile away...so why did he run straight at me then cut 500ft to make a loop:confused::confused::confused:


Im sure he got the GPS coords and followed them straight to them.....never knowing what the hell he was fishing...........

You would think that during the week you could get away from these people. I night fish on Friday's and Saturday's, can't deal with the 16,989 boats with no sense.

Worst potlicking ever happened to me was one morning, still dark, we set up on a spot, anchor light still on, only boat on the lake.
Next thing we know, another boat came around the corner and headed straight towards our light. When he was 50 or so yards away from us, he shut it down and trolled up with in 20 yards of us.
I cranked up the big motor and left.
Couple hours later, fishing a flock of birds, he cut in front of us and a guide. The guide asked him if he had a clue, he looked at the guide and said, what do you mean?
So I guess he didn't have a clue.

I'm pretty sure half of the people who fish big lake seek out W to simply aggravate him and make it into a post he makes about them bn a potlickin pilgrim.....
Or they just wanna see why there is a midget running around on the front of the boat screaming about
"bird nest" and " fuc*in core"........ Lmao!!

It continues to happen every where I fish, and It definately gets worse, and the people are more rude by the day. I dont mind sharing a spot one bit, but when some one cuts me off, or can see I'm making my way in a particular direction, and they have no respect or curtesy, but to pull their boat rite in front of me it gets really annoying! Some things are understandable, but boating and fishing etiquette, is long gone, except for the few and far that still have a some pride and class. I belive every desireable fisherman has his rite to fish where he wants to, but giving a person a little space is not too much to ask for, Unless your fishing the infamous "SEA BROOK"

But, I did witness one better, slightly better. Myself and one of our guides were on the east bank last year. An wouldn't you know it, the wier super highway was in full effect. We were both catching pretty good, when down the highway, this 15 foot aluminum bateau was coming. He kept coming, and coming, and headed straight to is. He then pulls up to the other boat, who is anchored, and asks..... Hey man, where is grand bayou? It was priceless.

I was fishing one morning in a very thick fog on the south end of West Cove and we were catching big trout. Did not see another boat all day, then I hear a motor in the fog getting louder and louder, then I see him heading right at me. Idles up next to my boat and says, "is this the ship channel?" I was perplexed to say the least and not to mention furious! Then I saw the guy was a littled rattled and lost VERY badly, and tryed pointing him in the right direction.. When he left those big sows pushed out and never came back on that flat either. Hilarious THough

worst I ever saw was that day I was fishing by you Stulb in West Cove. Champion on WOT came within a cast between us!!

I think I could of handle this two ways....one..I would of lose it and sank his boat... Or just smiled and been real friendly.....o u want grand weirs...well sir u are on the wrong east bank... You need to cross over to ship channel ,,,then head south..until you see rocks...it will be the 1st cut on you right between the rocks ,,,good day

One more good one last year.....can't remember who was with but I sure they will remember this...

Late afternoon were just drifting some flats off east bank....saturday afternoon...we were catching a few nice big trout .... We were fishing about 200 yards off the bank... I see a 15ft aluminum boat cruising up the bank....I'm saying sure he is going to go out from us??? Well he is coming son,,,,,, passes right between us and the bank and slows down....reaches in his ice chest and pulls out a 3lbs trout...(Motor still running) says... At the weirs in dead shrimp....go get....they are there......

Fishing Moss Lake with another boat...about 100 yards apart...trout between us...catching one every other cast...two brothas in an aluminum boat come hauling arse between us...shut down and the one in front shot puts the anchor out the boat and says "dis is where we wuz yessidy"...bite stops...fish are gone...me and the guy in the other boat stand there going ***???

Today in the dogfight was a cluster F^ck... Everybody blasted out, one aluminum boat dang near got swamped.. he was gettin soaked from spray of passing boats... Should be an intresting weigh in... I'd walk straight up and deck the guy who sprayed the piss out of him... no questions asked until after

W...Get you a paint ball gun and blister em if they get too close..then back @ the landing everyone will know who screwed up....

That tops all of em!!!!!!! Go get em!!! Some people think that the wiers are THE ONLY place to that holds fish.

When that happens to me I start the motor and make a big circle around them at about half throttle with motor trimmed way up throwin a huge wake and ruinin the spot for a while!

Ya know that reef area is no longer private knowledge. Don't worry by next year my cement tires should have sum growth on them and my shadow caster will be reknown for catching fish.

Made a trip this morning started out on the noth end of the lake, but the water was dirty so traveled to the south end of the lake and statred fishing a reef and got a dirty look from a guide boat at least I think it was a guide boat because of the look they were giving and I was about three boat lenghts away and they got real mad when I statrted reeling them in and they left after about 10 min then had the whole thing to my self. The bite was quick and didn;t last long. All in all ended up with 12 specs and 1 red fish all were some solid fish. I Pm the guy and on the other site....He denied the whole thing...

Even thought it was his boat with the biglake411 decal over the champion sticker and same year motor and same leaning post seat and same beer gut he has...*****

Then he said he was solo..... but funny all what he said was what happened but this was not him....

Here is a Pic of his boat when he bought it...Only thing changed was he put a new front seat and 411 decal on it....

Funny sheet rite dere.....should have invited him fishing with you then call him out on it lol.
