Got a 21 pitch laser 2 if you're interested.

Dink 04-13-2011 10:16 PM

The 21 pitch is junk!! Buy mine instead!! LOL!!! I'm kidding

Montauk17 04-13-2011 10:39 PM

A 125 would run better with a 19....Tim,if that is the prop you took off your 150 it will not work on his motor.

Dink 04-13-2011 10:41 PM

Different shaft? I thought it was the same from 90 to 175?

Montauk17 04-13-2011 10:45 PM

Lower unit is smaller. 75-130 use one size....150-300 use another size.

Dink 04-13-2011 10:52 PM

Ah crap....they need to make an adapter hub......patent that Ryan!!

Montauk17 04-13-2011 10:57 PM

Won't work bro...has nothing to do with the hub. The barrel of the prop is too big,it will not go into the lower unit.

Dink 04-13-2011 10:59 PM

Put a little lube on it bro!! Haha!!

Montauk17 04-13-2011 11:00 PM

I knew you were going to say that...LOL

What brand and pitch prop are you running right now? Also how many rpm's will it turn at WOT? We might have something used at the shop that will work. Lazer is more or less for a bass style boat with alot of rake.

outcast 04-14-2011 08:04 PM

Im running a lazer 2, 22 pitch. Running 46mph at 5000 rpm @wot. Merc 125. 6" hydraulic jack plate, the boat has a small pocket tunnel

We can re pitch the prop you have now instead of buying another one. Are you having problems with a slow holeshot, or just trying to get the rpm's up?

Both! How much to repitch the prop?

Montauk17 04-14-2011 09:31 PM

As long as the blades do not need alot of welding it would be 85 plus tax. We balance all the blades and can add extra cup to complement the tunnel hull. Another 12 bucks or so for shipping if you do not want to drive to lafayette. One thing to remember with that 125 is the holeshot will not be as good as some engines. It only runs on 2 clys untill you get over 2500rpm's.
