Got a call from a freind who was in line;making jokes about the doubt if he'd even get to the front desk before it was shutdown. If it was a class action suit the odd's getting enough to fill up a 6 gallon tank were very unlikely .Sure not worth standing in the wind and cold.

Here's a picture from when I stood in line for about 5 minutes and then said "aw piss on it"...
I bet those were some outstanding individuals! I'm tired of the hand-out crowd. The paper has 4 pages of help wanted ads in it today. If someone needs money that bad they need to get their a$$ to work.

I don't understand why BP would just be handing out money to whoever showed up. It makes no sense. What is their reason for just handing out money?
there aint no line for me...when i walk up the line moves and money gets dropped..thats how i roll
A guy I work with was saying that anybody with a salt water fishin liscense got some money, and if you had a boat you got more. Not sure if thats accurate or not. He also said there was another one in Lake Charles today.

From what the owner of Hollier's stated:
The persons in line filled out paperwork to file for the class action lawsuit and no money was handed out. The money that was talked about, was how much the person could possibly receive. Glad I didn't waste my time |

I agree 100%, have no clue why this is going on.

Nobody received money yet. The papers people signed was part of a class action lawsuit stating that they were not able to eat the fish they caught and were forced to purchase their food which caused financial hardship. From this, anyone that can prove they had a saltwater fishing license were eligible to file a claim. People with a boat registered in their name would supposively be entitled to more money. It also stated that if the lawsuit was lost, it would cost the claimants $0, but if won, the lawyers were entitled to 33%
Wow, Rome is burning!
More of our courtrooms, which are paid for by our tax dollars, will be clogged with the dumbest lawsuit since some stupid B spilled coffee on herself !
33% cut to the lawyers.....sickening.
Heard this was an Identity Scam and the Feds are looking into it. Hope not too many of you weren't part of this!
