Got me a new pup female and having trouble with names any suggestion

Since I am supposed to be the internet dog know it all:smokin:, I would like to make a suggestion. Try not to use a name that starts with an "S" since it will be so close in sound to the command "SIT" there is a possiblity the dog could get confused. Traditionally, dogs are sent for "Marks"on their names and "Blinds" with the word "Back". The S-ss sound is what the dog is listening for when sent for a retrieve.....Sam,Sadie,Sit.
Me, I like the call names: Booger,Cully,Trip,Ford,Chevy,Dago

Daisy is a good female lab name.

Had several, my favorite Name was "Ellie" Mae

Belle , Kay , Lucy , and thats all ican think of.

I always did like the name Dixie. I had a chocolate lab named that.

If they have any distinct characteristics you can name them that way. My lab's fur has zig zags down her back so her name is ziggy.

I can't believe no one mentioned this. I think I'll name my next one after this lure.

When I joined the Navy I left my black lab Kate with my dad. He's had three since then, all named Kate.

I have 2 black labs, the male is SAMBO and the female is MILES.

Thats my males name "Samson" Attaboy.....Sam for call name, call him Sambo cause theres a guy at the camp that's name Sam also, gets kinda confusing at at times!

My chocolate was Stormy Cajun Day (Stormy) My current black is Calcasieu Cajun Belle (or something like that) Been calling her Belle so long don't remember the AKC name.

By the way. The day my daughter was born, Nov 16, 1987, was a very bad weather day. Wanted to name my dauhter Stormy. Wife nixed that, so that same day went and got me a chocolate female and named her Stormy.

Thank God for your wife. There is a Stormy in every single strip club I have been to.

Yeah, I know. That was her argument against the name. I still named her though. Stacey Danielle Savoie. Better than Stormy anyway.

We did call Stormy her sister though. LOL
