7/17/09 Big Lake....Calm before Storm!!!
 

SpeckDaddy(Jason) and I made a awesome trip this morning.... started out on a reef and picked up about 20 trout and 2 reds..... Wanted to go look for some bigger trout so we hit anthor area to find the trout thick as flies... Top water every cast and I mean every cast!!! We limited out about 9:30am and caught on top water until the storms made us go!!!!

Even had and old sea gul passing by that wanted a taste of that topwater action!!!! She got a lip full of spook!!!;)

Nothing wrong with that trip...Nice haul

he pulled drag, and speakin of pullin,i hadta pull dubya offa the lake , we had lightnin and the storm was on top of us and he still stopped ta try a few more casts at sum fish slammin the top.lmao that ol boy didnt wanna leave and neither did i. great conditions and great trip....thanks for sharin time and ya boat wif me dubya

good report..we caught a brown pelican last week..it was vicious..and it still has a Black And Chartreuse Top Dog in its beak..i tried to help it out but all it wanted to do was bite my arm off..

naw, dubya had plans for this gull, we were gonna deep fry that bad boy and try em with tater salad....lol

OH YEA WE GOT SOAKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We wouild have had more fish if the trolling motor battery wasnt opperating the main motor.......... DAD! Yea i grilled the fish we caught....... Jus finished eatin them :(
