my buddy was one of the gaurds that watched him....we were talkin today and he told him he was his role model.....gov as they call him said why he said when im 80 i hope i can pull a piece of a$$ like the one that comes and sees you every sat..........he said that a 32 year old beautiful woman read his book and started writing him....he put her on his list of visitors. she comes every sat to visitation. he told him he will probly be moving to alex as soon as they will let him. ........maybe he will be smart enough to get a prenup if the other one didn't take him for everything

She comes from one of the wealthiest families in Ascension Parish and is no gold digger.

Move over, Bobby, the sheriff is back in town!!!! Heard today that Da Gov got a job working for Buddy Leach. Buddy is (one of the) owners of Sweet Lake Land and Oil based out of Lake Charlees. Buddy is a former Senator who failed in his last bid to run for Governor, beaten by Jindal. He was once the head of the State Democrat party. He said he hired Edwards as a consultant because of his vast knowledge of the oil and gas industry. Hmmm, wonder what favor he had to repay to hire EWE. No skin off Leach's back as he is a multi, multi millionaire. Good Luck EWE!!!

That's a real Blanket Statement JJ.
I never liked EWE, voted against him and grew up disliking him due to outside influences of my parents and relatives. Was he an angel, NO! But I don't believe him doing the full sentence served any useful purpose. From the biography, I belive he got a $hitty deal on the indictment and subsequent conviction. Jim Letten violated several wire tap laws and Black Mailed (not a legal term) witnesses to get testimony in his favor. EWE, was always on the edge, that is how he did business. Just about every other Governor prior to EWE did business the same way.

BUT, to indict his wife for being married to the public person he was is total Bull $hit! She was not involved in any of his public or private dealings. Did she know about his past indiscretions, very probably but that does not make her complicit in them.
