I like my ps3 so far, I noticed Xbox allows you to stream games with ESPN live. Can ps3 do this also?
I know the ps3 can do 3D with the latest update, plus netflix which I tried out and the movies look good. |

beta???
hahahahahahha |
For just playing games I like the XBOX better, but the PS3 is a better overall entertainment system with Blue-Ray, and all the online stuff you can do. I'm not sure about the new XBOX's, but since both systems have been out the PS3 has been a-lot more reliable. I've only owned 1 PS3, but I'm on my 3rd XBOX. Assuming the new XBOX's are more reliable you can't really go wrong with either one of them.

but with x box, you get to view the red circle of death in about a years time.:pissed:

YEP YEP! i got the 250gb Ps3. it does very well. the PSN or playstation network is an online sort of virtual community where ps3 users can go and visit virtual stores, talk to other ps3 users, play psn games and more....AND IT COMES FREE with your PS3! and like others said, the ps3 also plays dvd/blurays, streams movies through netflix or online sites etc. you can connect to your pc through your ps3 and view on your tv any files (songs, movies, pictures, videos etc.) that are on your pc through your ps3's media bar. it also browses the internet and oh yeah, it has a ton of great games from games for kids to adults. I got the c.o.d. black ops hardened edition on preorder... comes with 4 bonus zombie maps! supposedly u get to play as JFK, Nixon and Castro.. should be interesting. PS3 all the way baby!! :D |

all u need to do is enable the media server under network settings on your ps3. if you dont have windows media player 11 on your pc, either get it or download a media server program from java or windows. easy! and free!! :grinpimp: theres also about 100 vids on youtube to walk u through it. |
No WIFI built in??
Why can't you connect to your computer wirelessly? I've already got a Vizio BluRay player that I download Netflix movies wirelessly.
|
well, i have a mac, so i will have to look into that.
if that is the case and i can do it wirelessly, that would be awesome |

yes you can connect wireless. PS3 has built-in bluetooth and wireless capabilities. my belkin 4-port is also N+ wireless, but i chose the hard-wired route because from what i understand, it's faster than wireless. and like i said... slow connections will get u KILLED FAST. :smokin: |
hey yakem.. after a quick search, i found this.. i dont have a mac, so i dunno if this will help but looked like the right info..
hope that helps ya! How to: Stream Media from Mac to PS3 http://www.last100.com/2008/05/12/ho...playstation-3/ |
