Duck Hunt for Cale
 

I am ready to get this lottery going to run the month of September with a winner announced on October 1st 2010.
All proceeds will go to offset medical travel expenses for Cale Langlinais age 2 who has been diagnosed with Leukemia.
Tickets will be $10.00 each and there will be no limit on the amount of chances you can purchase. Southern151 aka Corey will be handling the money via his paypal account.

The winner will get a hunt for two with me on my lease in Grand Cheinier La, the date of hunt will be mutually agreed upon. Shells,license, and transportation to Lake Charles La will be the responsiblity of contest winner. This trip has no monetary value and has to be booked with me prior to the close of the 2010-2011 regular duck season.

They collected right at $90,000 this past weekend at the benefit in Delcambre!!!!! I didn't place in the cook-off but it sure was a good time.

Alright guys, I really want this benefit to shine! I'm glad that they were able to raise so much money last weekend! That is excellent!

In the spirit of getting this kicked off and adding to the collection, I am going to buy 10 tickets myself. Conflict of interest?...Assuming everyone is ok with me making the purchase, I am going to put Cale's name on each of my tickets purchased. This way, should one of these tickets be drawn, maybe his dad can go or another family member.

Is everyone ok with this?

Here's a pic of the names that I have listed so far and how they will be dropped in a bucket for my son to pull one. Let me know if anyone has any issues with this and what I would need to change to satisfy everyone. They are all nearly the same in size.

You know, I finally went to calescause.org last night to see what this little boy had going on. I lost it. I look at the two beautiful, healthy kids I have and thought to myself that, "Damn, I take that for granted sometimes!" In short, what each of you have done by entering may never be recognized by the White House(Who cares, right) but, your selflessness in contributing will be felt in your heart and this family's! Hopefully, it also makes us stop and realize how good we also have it, those of us with healthy kids!

I feel very blessed to have been chosen to be a part of this and thank Raymond for dawning the idea!
