last meal

If you were to have your lat meal, what would it be?
Triple meat cheeseburger w/fries for me.

Asterisk-Rich 07-09-2010 10:05 PM

Ribeye cooked to perfection! Cheesy potatoes! and a good glass of Silver Oaks!

Ray 07-09-2010 10:09 PM

Not no freakin' frozen fries. I hate frozen fries...

I'd eat Snapper broiled in butter, covered with crab ettoufee with a side of spicy shrimp fetticinni and garlic bread drizzled with Tony's Creole Seasoning and sprinkled with Velveeta or parmagen cheese. For dessert, I want a big thick azzed hunk of homemade bread pudding covered in sugary rum sauce and raisins.
To wash it down, a magnum bottle of cold 32 degree Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill.
I won't need any Prilosec since it is my last meal.

simplepeddler 07-09-2010 10:09 PM

Zachary Boy 07-09-2010 11:32 PM

I go with answer # 3,# 4, #5 and #6. I grew up on okra po-boys and collard green sandwiches so getting meat is good....

swamp snorkler 07-09-2010 11:38 PM

i often think about this....... for breakfast i would take 2 left over cold boiled crabs, some eggs and rice with some fresh watermelon. For lunch, smothered green onion sausage with an onion gravy on top of some rice with some buttered corn, fresh field peas, and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar, homemade vanilla custard for desert and a mason jar of ice cold sweet tea to drink with it. Mid day snack, a ham sandwich made with chesisis ham, tomato, government cheese, mayo and bread and butter pickles. For supper I want a nice New York Strip cooked medium and some Crawfish bisque from my mom............ I would die a happy man

 Well if you weren't going to die before, you'd definitely die after eating all that in one day!

Zachary Boy 07-09-2010 11:48 PM

Crawfish Bisque is worth dieing for. I get some once or twice a year.

BayBolt23 07-10-2010 12:51 AM

It would have to be about ten pounds of boiled crawfish and an icechest of budlite right on the side of me!!

Big Kahunaz 07-10-2010 02:56 AM

BBQ crabs. Ribeye topped w lump crab meat in a butter reduction sauce new potatoes w garlic thyme olive oil drizzle and ceasar salad A Funnel and handle of patron repasado to wash away the thought of a "FINAL" meal.....

FF_T_Warren 07-10-2010 07:40 AM

probably have to be a salad with parrain's jalapeno dressing for starters, then a perfectly smoked then grilled ribeye w/ some bacon wrapped shrimp on the side. Then for desert, a piece of this pistachio cake this lady makes. Its literally the best cake I have ever eaten. You eat it by the plate full not the piece.

eman 07-10-2010 06:59 PM

longsidelandry 07-10-2010 07:13 PM

Unlimited amount of boiled crawfish, onions and potatoes with some dip the way my grandma makes it with the onions in it, ALOT of ice cold Bud Light, some cheesecake and some Blue Bell pecan pralines n cream ice cream for desert.

catch.and.fillet 07-10-2010 07:15 PM

Boiled shrimp and crabs - all in the same pot....a little tartar sauce and tabasco on the side....boil the crabs and then add the shrimp when the crabs are done, let soak for 10 minutes and serve it up....but they better have the crabman on standby...cause I'd crap my pants and never stop....I'd eat til I die

blackmamba 07-10-2010 07:53 PM

tough one

But, I'd say some good old fashioned rice and gravy, with pork grillades, just the way mom makes it. Throw in some sweet kernal corn and green beans wrapped in bacon. That's all I need. And the grillades have GOT to be from Hebert's in Maurice.

cooks

On another site that used to be i was the cook for our get togethers.
Looks like we may be having another bungle soon so i hope they'll have me back .
My yankee friends can't understand that down here the youngsters all learn to cook .Don't matter if you male or female.
my dad (RIP) couldn't boil water w/o burning it so my mama made sure that all her kids learned to cook enough to fend for themselves.
I wasn't lucky enough to be born on the bayou to cajun parents so i had to learn most of my skills on my own.
helps that i found me a great wife from the country and she was raised cooking good country cookin.
We all have to learn wether it be at mamas or daddys knee or through trial and error.
But, at least we can eat the mistakes:cool:
