Alright SaltyCajuns! Here we go! I'm sure most of you read there was a woman in my area that lost her husband recently. The topic at hand was that a local pawn shop owner ripped her off of several hundred dollars after her husband passed.


I've talked it over with Shadman and Simplepeddler and we are going to do a Paypal donation to replace the money this lady is out and maybe even a little more to help her with the costs of suddenly being a single parent!

Shadman has been gracious enough to let us use his forum and help with the donation retrieval! Again Shad, THANK YOU!!;)

The donations start now and will run until Sunday @ noon (assuming everyone is ok with that).

Guys, thanks so much for all the contributions! I cannot begin to tell you what this does for me and my faith in people! I am at a loss for words, my eyes watering. You guys remind me that there are great people in a less than great world! Hopefully and, surely, this unfortunate lady will be reminded of the same.

I will be stopping in at Gold and Guns in the coming week to show the owner this thread and the total amount raised for her due to his greed. While it may have zero effect on his practices, he will at least know that there are a whole lot of people out there that are ten times the man he is and that all of these great people are onto his scandalous ways.

Again, thank you, each and every one of you! For those who weren't here in the beginning of this thread, there was a $50 contribution made by a person who isn't around here anymore.
