My Buddy called me today and said they had a guy on Lambert weir in the grass with a Deer Rifle..

They pulled up and asked him what he was doing...

(Buddy is in Coast Guard Academy school)

He said making sure no one checks his crab traps....He told that guy...#1 I'm taking your pic...#2 you will not even think about firing that gun at anyone on this lake #3 I'm reporting you right now to WL&F...

When I get the pic I wil post... WL&F was going out to front him

If he was at lamberts with a gun they should have arrested him!! Hope he is down there next time so I can see if he can choot. Basitids should have to keep their trash atleast 1/4 mile from the entrance to grand and lamberts.

When I got back to hebert's after fishing yesterday morning, I noticed that someone hung a sign (posterboard with permanent marker writing) saying something to the effect of don't run crab traps because you will be caught on camera LOL! Probably from the same old coot that was hanging out on the weir....

I'm sure he saw people looking for 3tail and thought someone was messing with traps... Or someone got caught on a trap trying for 3tail.... If a sob choots at me for catching a 3tail.... I will choot em back....my boat packs
