bgizzle 03-25-2013 09:16 PM

Stud!!! Congrats man. I'm one of those stats. Hope to change it within the yr

Clampy 03-25-2013 09:30 PM

I heard it was caught on live shrimp on a double rig. Under a Thunder Chicken popping cork.

youu_whoo_whoo 03-25-2013 09:39 PM

congrads on catching that one, that is a great fish

evis102 03-25-2013 11:20 PM

It was Sabine. Robby Trahan did point us in the right direction and I would never have landed it without the lessons Steve Stroderd gave me over the last 4 years on how to handle big fish. I have never seen a fish run so fast, she looked like a barracuda cutting through the water.

I tried to get some better pictures but it was raining so I did the best I could.

That's awesome. I was wading this past Friday and was on some good fish. Had just caught a 6 and another almost 6. 5 minutes later a "googan" is trolling close to me. One smokes my corky and runs just like you described. It was about to spool me. I tried to turn her and my bait came unhooked. I almost puked.

Awesome fish man. Joslin must be covering for you, he said it was caught in Big Lake. Or he's trying to keep em off so he can get one himself. haha.
