Dude, this ain't river fishing. Best thing is it will probably be an April/May spawn, so carolina and crank bait bite should still be good. Hope the jig bite is on by then.

As of right now, I plan on going up on Thurdsay afternoon and maybe Wednesday.

if you make a friday afternoon trip through the weekend one day and need some drunken company give me a holler. I'm hoping this is the last weekend of house work then the rest is hired out...floor and paint

I think we'll have a captains meeting/drink fest friday night just to pay up and sign in.

Let me know if anyone has any real heartburn over any of them.

1. All Federal and State rules and regulations will apply. Violations will result in disqualification of the entire team.
2. Safe boating conduct will be observed AT ALL TIMES.
3. Each competitor is required to wear a Coast Guard approved P.F.D while operating gas engine with the kill switch attached.
4. A maximum of three (3) anglers per team. Entry fee is $30 per boat and per two (2) man kayak team.
5. There will be a cash payout of:
1st place = 50% of all entry fees
2nd place = 30% of all entry fees
3rd place = 20% of all entry fees
6. Side Pot: (Optional) - $5 per angler, largest bass. Side pot will have a 100% payout of monies collected. In case of a tie, length of the fish will determine the winner
7. Fishing hours will begin at 5:45 am on June 12, 2010 and contestants must be in the weigh-in line at Big Bass Marina by 4:00 pm. Any team not in line by 4:00 pm will be disqualified.
8. Weigh in of fish may begin at 3:00 pm.
9. Official launch will be at Big Bass Marina, but contestants may launch anywhere on the lake.
10. All fish must be caught on a rod and reel.
11. No fish may be accepted from or given to another team.
12. Boat or kayak fishing are all permitted within the stated boundaries.
13. Only artificial lures may be used. Exception being prepared pork trailers.
14. Heaviest LEGAL 5 bass stringer will win.
15. Only largemouth or spotted (Kentucky) bass will be weighed.
16. Largemouth must be 14" in length Spotted bass no size limit. NOTE: spotted bass is defined as a black bass with a tooth patch on the tongue.
17. One rod and reel may be used at a time.
18. Boundaries: Participants may fish anywhere on Toledo Bend.
19. In case of a tie, heaviest fish of the stringer will determine the winner.
20. All Tournament Committee rulings are FINAL
21. Sponsors and organizers are not responsible for any accident or injury, nor loss, damage, or theft to any property.
22. IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER, THIS EVENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED, IF FOR ANY REASON EVENT CANNOT BE HELD ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED
23. Late penalty will be 1 pound per minute late. Disqualification after 15 minutes late.
24. There will be a ½ pound bonus awarded if more than 3 fish in the stringer are weighed in alive.
25. Entry fees must be paid Friday night at Big Bass Marina.

Dayum, that's some rules. I'm fie with whatever the powers at be suggest. Not even sure if I can fish it yet. Padna hasn't let me know.

That is just work coming out in me. If there are any issues, please let us know and we can look at them. Fully understand this is a fun tourney, just want to make sure we cover the bases.
