Guls Island, we have had Mcdermott who will be installing this ATP job we getting ready to load out. Herema, Tetra, and Offshore Specialty do most of our installations lately. Who you work for.

I work for Oceaneering, but I worked on the McDermott DB-50 for 3 years as 3rd party. I think we have installed 2 ATP jackets from that barge and a few others that I cant think of off hand. I've also worked on the Herema Balder, too

Ray 10-22-2009 10:28 AM

The DB-50 and the Balder have done a lot of work for our company in the past.
That Balder is one big azzed monster.
The DB-50 was working about 10 miles to the South of MC-809 while I was at work last hitch. Might still be there. Looks like they are driving pilings out there or setting something on the Gulf floor.

bay_slayer 10-22-2009 10:35 AM

yeah I'm not sure what they are doing or where they are at anymore. I'm working on a Bisso salvage barge, picking up pieces of Rowan Jackup drilling rigs

B-Stealth 10-22-2009 11:52 AM
