I like the part when the guy said something about "the only thing he throws back is dead schwimps."

I say "Pot, Kettle"

I don't see why he could not make a go of it. Some Guides around here fish multiple systems and do pretty good.

it's not that it can't b done.
It's that Capt Dumas is a die hard lake p guide.
Is it his " bread and butter".
He has stated that his goal is to b the best guide on lake p.
So by principle he needs to focus on that, not spread himself out.
He's dang good on lake p and some will say he is the best guide.
It just seems impratical and doesn't make financial cents...

It makes sense if he has loyal customers looking for a change in scenery.

Some of the upper coast guys will set up camp in a trailer park down South for several weeks at a time and are booked up with there usual local clientele.
