It's you who isn't very bright. No one here has said you couldn't play with your toy. It's you that has shown an absolute disrespect for people's privacy and property. If you have nothing to hide why worry? Those were your words. Would you feel the same if someone watched through the window while your wife or daughter showered? I'm betting the answer is no. A man would grab his gun and protect his family. Not sure what you would do though. You wouldn't be the first to find out the hard way my property is not a place to F with me. Maybe you can figure that out. |

Well my wife knows to close the window curtains while showering. She wasn't raised in a barn. |

So I guess I feel ok if someone flies over the house or church. All you need to do is chill out and not worry about a small thing like a quad copter. I don't think they have to many cameras in Cameron parish but most cities have cameras all over the place so be sure to smile. |

This entire argument of "privacy" is a joke really... there is no such thing as privacy anymore if you own a cell phone, computer, GPS, car with TPMS sensors, cars past around 2007, etc etc. not to mention every place you go into you are recorded, every intersection you have passed through you have been on camera. Everywhere you are you are being monitored and data is and has been collected on you, your likes, your dislikes, your routes and patterns, but yet you people want to cry about recreational drones possibly being used to spy on people. (which might I add would be a small portion of people in a small category) C'mon guys, I dont see the outrage for invasion of privacy when the govt is doing it via mass data collection of all phone calls, texts, anything digital... theres an entire digital footprint of you stored somewhere on underground servers (even a non digital footprint via public cameras), yet you want to bicker about a damn toy plane that a horned up teenager "might" use to spy on the neighbor.
And even if you claim to not use the internet often, it doesnt matter. All your medical records, hell ANY kind of records are stored digitally (medical, debit and credit history, all government records, you get the picture) Right. Go ahead and tell me how youre so against invasion of privacy when half of you either support/ or didnt care/dont know about the "patriot" act. |
So my opinion on drones is that we should be worrying about invasion of privacy on much higher levels than being so conceited to think that anyone in your neighborhood has enough interest in you to spy on you.
How many of these cases have actually proven that the drones were being used for lewd purposes, anyways? Im assuming that this is just a rash generalization from people who fear the unknown. |

so cj its ok if i set up camera over your domicile and keep tabs on what you are doing, or if your wife is sunbathing topless or nude in the back yard inside your privacy fence it is ok for someone pervert or not to fly their aircraft and get some pictures
