Do, i repeat do wear a jock strap and keep em iced for the weekend. Jock strap was uncomfortable and i thought i don't need it, was up and around that afternoon, the next day they were SWOLLEN and sore.....

I did sport tights and it gave me plenty support and just took it easy for 2 days.

Even if you thinking you are feeling better don't push it or they will swell up like grapefruits. Happened to a buddy of mine when he thought he was ok. When I had it done a few years ago I just layed in the recliner for 3 days swapping out bags of frozen peas and I was fine. Didn't need the pain pill after the second day. I went back off shore 5 days after and I was fine.

Take the pain pills the doc gives you and sit on your butt all weekend and you'll be fine. Horror stories come from guys who move around to much. Peas and Pills and its all good.

In a few weeks it'll be worth it.:cheers:

They have a napkin/towel with a slit in the middle of it..... They pull your sack up through it and it's all you can see.... looks like they are sitting on a platter...:D

after I had it done it came up in conversation one night with friends. I was telling the story about having to go drop of the sample for testing. Told them how embarrassed my wife had to be walking into the path lab with a mouth full and asking for a cup. Luckily my wife's got a sense of humor.

Took 2 Valium upon arrival pulled my shorts off laid back on the table put my legs in the air! The nurse which I knew her passed a cleaning on the ole sack,then the Dr pushed to get the tubes up to the surface stuck it with a pain killing injection, cut the tube burned it stitched it and did the samething on the other side! All of about 15 minutes! Wasn't too bad! Now chilling in my recliner watching NFL Network!

My ins wouldnt pay for it $1800 so i called around and found a family dr who would do it for cash $300. Was his last patient. No sedation just got a local.
No napkin for me and when he started to cut it felt like sandpaper so he gave me another shot to numb it. As he was working he started to sweat. thats not a good sight. Best part was "leroy" was getting in his way so he had nurse hold it. :) He finished up and i drove myself home. Went to work after a couple of days. A month goes by and i would get pain there. Went back twice to get direct steroid shots at incision site. ouch. Lesson here is you get what you pay for
