I've never fished with a Billy stix... But my brother "yak-em seems to like his... He drove and got one from you on his way to the keys... I'd love to have one and might get one if I make the trip with him next year... Worth a shot to try to win one...

i just completed one for him but i can't remember where he won the 2nd rod.

I can't say that i have ever used a billystix rod before, but considering I am but a poor college student with only two low end rods to my name and the fact that those custom billystix rods i just saw made me drool on my laptop; i would love to have one.

you can put my name in there! I want a spiral rod but I don't want all the fancy graffiti on there because I like a sensitive rod that I can feel the action of the bait. I just want a rod with about 10 or more guides, 7ft long medium action with a fast tip.

What is a Billystix Rod?

I guarantee that I know of no one in Pensacola that can answer that question, including the undersigned. I do fish often, mostly with my brother who is well equiped for any type of fishing, so I never pack my own rods.

When he comes to my house and sees my collection of rods, he laughs. Now I do not have 50 rods, for all types of occasions, but I do have a few for me to catch fish on.

But after doing the research on this forum, reading about them, and wondering how can they really be that great, I have only one option - I must trust what everyone on here says about them.

If I had one of these rods in my garage, I could shove it my bro's butt!! And say "I HAVE A BIILYSTIX ROD"!!!!

I would be able to teach him a thing or two about "Special Rods" for every occasion. The next time we went out together, I would pack my own rod - Built by a Louisiana Man - And Not Known to Every Person in My Town!!!

I would also love to show it off at my Favorite Bait & Tackle Store - Hot Spots Bait & Tackle - located in Gulf Breeze, Florida - owned and operated by my good buddy - Chris Phillips - Author of the Hook Line & Sinker - a weekly publication on fishing activities in the Pensacola News Journal.

If I could impress the best fishermen I know, Chris and my Brother as mentioned above, I would walk with unknown pride!!!!

After finally hearing all the good news about your rods, I decided to bypass this contest and hurry up and get one ordered. Allthough I have one being made, I would like a shot at getting another one. After talking to you over the phone, I noticed that you pay great attention to the details of your rods such as putting the first guide close to the reel. I look forward to getting my rod from you and hopefully winning another one.

i just yesterday got your rod started ,and i will get started on building this week just need to finish up some last minute details on a couple others i know you foot ball guys aint gonna like this but the ""fighting gators touch down club" has a yearly fishing tourney and i am building 8 rods for them guess what color :*****::*****: i am almost complete only have 3 left they have the rest already and i will finish those in the next couple days then i can get back to bidness, stay tuned. thanks for joiining the contest. i might post up some photos tonight, if i have time.
