Well I didn't own a pair before this, but now we should be able to get them pretty cheap.

And I have never even heard of anyone doing this.

Its all a big mixup but people already have their minds made up:rotfl:

The fox hunting though - I have in-laws in Union and Lincoln Parish that do this. There is no real hunting though. The dogs chase the foxes (or coyotes mainly now) and the dog that leads the race the longest wins. They don't kill the animals. My wife's uncle has a training pen (100 acres or so) where they allow started foxhounds to practice. He has a couple red foxes, gray foxes, and about 15 coyotes.

So, if you can catch a live coyote in decent shape, these foxpens will give you $100 or so for it:)

I quit following this story, but did they send out a second excuse or something? Cuz the original post stated not once but twice Humane Society of the US. Then, they sent the first excuse talking about some bs with a dead employee and an organization that never heard from Muck boots. So if it is now american humane whatever, then i will once again have a good laugh.

Notice I stated "publicly supporting". I'm not going around doing background checks on every company I buy products from but if I see an official press release about lacrosse donating to PETA, you can bet I'll find another company to buy boots from. I'm not pushing for a boycott, couldn't care less what you buy but I'm not buying from a, company that's scrambling to cover their asses after a poorly planned press release which outed them as supporters of one of the most rabid anti hunting and anti agricultural groups in the US.

If you really think about it buying a pair of muck boots is no different from being in a union. Think of all the pro gun people that pay union dues and some of that money will be used to help elect anti gun democrats or republicans. :)
