Not sure how much smoke your talking about or how familiar you are with the older 2 strokes, but they will smoke quite abit compared to the newer DFI 2 strokes and 4 strokes.. Better to smoke to much than none at all. Smoke means it's getting lubed. Check your plugs, if its running ok and not fouling plugs there shouldn't be a problem. Also, if you not bringing you RPMs up to or near WOT it may be loading up.. which means there's excess fuel in the cylinders. Good luck and enjoy!!

Yes that would be normal, especially if they were not torqued properly.

haoward if i was u i wud buy new plugs and know tha u put it on urself and its not loose then u wud know that u got new spark plugs and not have to worry abt it later on down the road. as for the oil mix pump just check and see if its not leaking thru any hose or pump itself not going out....

Looks like normal 2 stroke plugs. Don't see anything that jumps out as abnormal

good good once u get it all fixed up and check out everything on ur motor to be checked out even grease up ur steering rod and the mount where ur motor raise up and down then check ur oil pump to see wha it cud be. hope ur next fishing trip comes out better. and a little advice to ya if u feel comfortable tha ur motor can handle a good ride around the bay chase the birds and u will get on some white trout and specks. good luck and hope u do well... let us know how u do out there if u get to go back to v.bay

Don't forget to check the spark plug "gap" on the new plugs. New plugs may not be set correctly for you engine.
