This are my GO TO flounder rigs! but key to remember is during the flounder run stay at least 8 foot or deeper in the center of the lake they congregate in the deeper channels for the main run!

I think I'm a shoe in. I've got the anchor off my uncles old 40 ft. offshore boat. And I can chunk it a pretty good ways.

Clampy 10-09-2014 07:55 AM

Bradley. ...do you have any coordinates for the mid lake spot? I have a buddy whose girlfriends mom and them are heading to b.l. this weekend. They only fish b.l. about once a year, so any advice would be helpful. I already told them about the beetle spins and braid.

Clampy 10-09-2014 11:04 AM

I'll give ya'll only one of my little spots only because its actually easy to find and I see a few people fishing it besides me a lot but its actually at the end of a ditch that runs under the lake all the flounder travel that ditch and then reach the end of It in this area and kinda just hang out there till tidal movements happen! if you look on a satellite map its easy to see where the ditch ends from the water color in the air!

Now this is the only spot i'll give there are a couple more deeper holes I know of in this little cannel under the lake but I won't reveal all my secrets have to leave me some!

Wow, what a spankin I got. I thought what the heck is everybody so upset about? I went back and re-read my post and I certainly was not clear and absolutely sounded arrogant. My apologies for both. My initial frustration was being called a troll and I did not specify that when I replied. Everyone else was trying to help. The "troll" post seems to have disappeared. To my knowledge I have never asked anyone for their spots nor was I this time. I was inquiring about eating shrimp since last year could only find small shrimp in November. I should have asked question more clearly. Also the money thing, I was really off track there, sounded worse than I saw it in my head. I work side jobs during the year and put away some cash so when Fall comes, I can hunt and fish as much as I want. I was a full time Taxidermist for 16 years, not much money in that. Anyway, appreciation to those that that tried to help and apologies to those I offended.

I wouldn't worry bout it. Some peeps get their panties in a bunch over nothin. Good luck

This is a pic of the guy modifying my anchor for maximum velocity and distance per throw. Not a good pic but I can't be revealing all my secrets.
