Caught on Hot Pink Super Spook, Nothing special about the place I caught her, just right place right time. I'm looking for a biologist to finish my Top 10 registration form. It should be #8 once everything is done. And of course she will be going on the wall.

Never. They just better April - October. IMO. I've caught them on tops while wearing insulated coveralls it was so cold. It really depends on the depth you are fishing in.

I heard from a very good source it was caught in Sabine...any 10.lb + trout in any waters is a hell of a trout !!

jchief 03-24-2013 11:54 AM

Just looked back through the thread. The OP never said what body of water it was caught on.

And I agree with W

...any 10.lb + trout in any waters is a hell of a trout !!

Clampy 03-24-2013 12:29 PM

I don't guess we will get a conformation or a denial on which lake. Either way that's one huge trot. You know he laughing at us trying to figure it out.

Reefman 03-25-2013 09:43 AM

Once in a life time fish! Congrats.

I'm assuming if the fish is to be registered in LA. for a top ten spot then the fish must have been caught in La. waters.....

I'm sure he used the La side launch which would make it a legal La trout and Top 10 for our state .
