A Tournament just for bragging rights sounds like fun. If lots of the weekends already have a tournament scheduled, how many would be free to have a small tournament on a Friday just so we can meet some new people?

Or another possibility would be to have it start late in the afternoon......say 5 PM to dark. That time of the day can be very productive.

i would love to fish with all of you guys.i have never fished a tournament.i would fish the speck shootout but i will be in florida.are there any other tournaments after the shootout scheduled.

There is one end of june and one around July 4th....I think they are invite only I will see....

my vote is still to have it when the fishing busts loose in the fall, gives a good chance for everyone to bring back good catches and adds more fun for the family.

I agree, plus it won't be so hot (for the kids) and it will give a larger area to fish with more fish moving north up the ship channel to prien and lake charles.

i say we hold one in summer for freshwater (bream or catfish to hot for bass)

and a saltwater tour in fall
