Took this through my binoculars the other day...bluewings and spoons.

Just got back from our timber hole, looks good. Jumped a few green heads and hens off of it. Probably locals, have noticed a good bit of greys and spoonies showing on the river.

I stayed fired up about duck hunting year round even during the summer when i'm slinging bass in the boat i wish i was in a duck blind before shooting time with decoys set, a cup of coffee, teal buzzing, hearing the tat tat of grey ducks in the air, guns loaded ready for the watch to say go ahead then complete mayhem as i start laying birds belly up. Wooooo hoooo come on nov 12th before i go nuts.

the absolute best part for me is when i hit the convenient store.... get that 5 hour energy and a cup of coffee. Thats when all **** breaks out and I get friggin pumped. I was like leave me alone don't you have a diaper to change or something.

I saw a decal on the back of a window the other day it had a lab with some ducks behind it and it said when the tailgate drops the bull**** stops! Talk about get fired up!

All i can say is the night before opening day i'm sleeping if i sleep at all fully dressed with gun and in hand. That should make my wife happy.

I get that way with fishing tooo. huntings worse.... everything has to be cleaned and packed before the hunt. 2 alarms set (if i sleep) prolly call whomever i hunt with about 5 times lol. clothes laid out.

I can't get anymore pumped up than I am!! Taking my brother sat morning then off to brush our blind. It's time to start making the drop

Third night in a row on the couch for me. HAHAHAHHA.... my wife is handicapped and she told me yesterday she wanted to maim me as soon as i walked in the door. i said "why" she said "its a necessity to my being" "she then proceeded to tell me she was either going to bite me or kick me with her good leg and that if she was healthy and capable she would've murdered me long ago" I proceeded to tell her " oh BTW i am going fishing sat"

You know its nice to see some more duckoholics on here...in the past there were a handful of us that were excited about the season...looks you guys have taken it to the next level!

Touch ups on the lease and decoy stringing on the menu for this weekend....
