Having had my Haynie cat for 3 weeks now I love it handles the chop great Had it 48 miles last week Drove 143 total miles burned 41 gals Made it throught the weirs last week got in the marsh rode it 8 inches of water went past crab pots the were out of the water Was able to jump it up in 11 inches of water with basically no prob

man you just got that boat. id be to scared to scratch it running that shallow. i guess you have to break it in one day.

shallow sport 27 latitude single tunnel. Runs in spit and can go 100+ out. And is made in Texas.

Look at a used Twin Vee, most fishing room and best ride i've seen. Friends have the 26 and 36. 22 or 26 run shallow ride great and get great mileage. Cats don't need as much power as mono hulls because there is less drag with less hull in the water. If you want to do both offshore and inshore, These are great no nonsense boats.
