It depends on if you need to remove your tm to prevent theft or in da way on family outings. I'm looking at getting one for mine.

The only thing they have over the carbureted 40 tohatsu is fuel economy. If having a hot motor is a concern I would get a 40 merc 3 cylinder two stroke first and a carbed 40 tohatsu second.

what I meant by hot is as far as new motors go.
