Soooo......what your're saying is you can park on concrete if its in front, but not the grass????? ***?????????????? I still don't see how the P.D. can write you a ticket because of a rule of the subdivision. ??????? It's not a state law. It's none of the P.D's business. I've seen where the subdivision commity has fined or tried to fine homeowners for crap breaking their rules.

he told me it was parish ordinace. so yeah if its grass its off limit but if you pour cement in front its all good:spineyes: but i have to go to the homeowners assc. and get the slab approved. the cop was pretty cool he told me if he saw me parked incorrect he would knock first to give me a chance but if i wasnt home it would be a 50 dollar ticket each time. but i asked to see the code or laws and it said nothing about parking overnight on the curb or in the yard , oh well i have to live around these people i hate to be "that guy" who dosnt respect the neighbors it wont break the bank to pour a bigger driveway i just wish the neighbor would have had the balls to knock on my door and simpily tell me their concerns and or problem with me parking their .

I understand......Just p.o's me that people are like that. I have a friends mom that is not married & her son & I was stacking firewood in the driveway for her. "the commity" stopped by & told her she had to move it. She said well start moving. They mailed her a fine a week later & she mailed it back with a note telling them to stick it in their @#$! She's heard nothing else about it & that was 2 years ago.

i is high but i only need to pour a few yards and my frame crew will form it and my diggin boys will pour it

In East Baton Rouge parish ,There is an ordinance that says you can't park a vehicle in your front yard. If it is concrete or gravel it's not yard.
They don't enforce it unless someone biatchs.
also if you park on the street the vehicle must be parked in the direction of flow for the lane it's parked in or you can be ticketed

it could be worse they could steal your deer rifle then come back over and try to shoot you with it with your wife in the house:rotfl:

Know how you feel. I live in the country. One neighbor moved out from town and started telling us what to do. I told her to never set foot on my property. Every Friday after work and a couple cold ones I play Montgomery Gentry's song How do you like me now REAL REAL LOUD. This is my piece of dirt, I was here first and your rattling don't bother me. Sucks when you pay for your house try to be nice and these do gooders just look for something to grip about. A lady told me yesterday that those people are just unhappy with how their own life turned out.:pissed::pissed::pissed:

I had neighbors like that once. Woke up one SATURDAY morning to a city inspector wandering around the yard. I walked out and asked if I could help him. He told me he had gotten a phonecall from the mayor, no less, that said my house was in disrepair. He told me there was nothing wrong that he could see. What it was, we had a windstorm come through a couple days earlier and a couple shingles had popped up on the ridge of the roof. I had already fixed them the day before.
I went to wallyworld and bought every pink flamingo they had and put them all over the front yard. I don't know why they hated me!??

that is the best damn idea ive hear all day im prepared to drop 500 buck on pink flamingos ***** . mayby even a 10 ft bronze statue of a speckled trout with one of them huge rapalas hangin out its mouth :D
