Those are what's on the bunks for my aluminum boat. Don't think I'd want my glass boat on it. What are you trying to accomplish? Slide off easier when launching? We always used a block of peraffin wax. Leave it in sun while ur fishing then rub down the carpet before you put the boat back on. Do it a few times a year.

Go to Sporttrail trailers and see what Kevin is doing w boards. Call him and get his opinion. I think these are the best trailers made.

i had them on my 19' carolina w/ 115 yamaha... made it ALOT easier to launch... but when the trailer starts down the incline you are committed .... don't stop or it will slide to the cement!!
