Wife ran track at Lamar and a friend of hers who is a distance runner was in this race. Her husband is actually a member on here. Hopefully all is well and ill post updates when I find out. This is actually the first I've read or heard about this happening. SMH

Unfortunately not eveyone was ok and prayers go out to the dead, injured, and witnesses to this horrible event. Such a great event where we actually still have competition yet athletes and strangers will rally for each other throughout an entire race and someone finds the evil to take advantage of the innocent.

Luckily we hadn't had one of our own injured. His wife finished the race. He stated he was actually in the area just 20min before it happened.

Ok what's guns got to do with this. I'm 100% pro guns but this has nothing to do with yesterday and What if its a crazy American or anyone else that did this and not a Muslim. All you got to worry about at mud fest is bubbas meth lab blowing up in his RV bathroom.

exactly...are you really going to believe what the media divulges? They are whores for attention and will post or report anything that will lead the mush brains to run in a panic. This has nothing to do with guns...period. People on both sides of the fence will twist it to thier agenda. Yes we are not safe from bad people. No matter what bad people will do bad things...its quite simple.

Just be thankful that these victims had a response from police officers, medical/Emergency response and regular citizens. They put their lives in danger to help the injured.

Let the investigation run and then give us your opinion.
