What scope are you useing or is it the open sites? Any other responses are welcome this is helpful to me

I'd stay away from BSA. I haven't had any reliable scopes from them. If you want cheap optics look at Simmons or bushnell. They have some specific for .22 rifles and are way better than BSA.
