I have been wondering bout these fish. They are pretty smart i think because down here when we hook one almost instantly they run back into the rig. anyone know the patterns on these fish? They only show up down here in the late summer when the river drops. Where do they go after that? any good tips on catching them when they are not seen? I mean i know they hang around they legs of rigs and floating stuff etc. But there is gotta be a way to target them. These fish are somewhat new to me.

Nobody really knows a whole lot about these fish even the bologist dont know much. All i have ever heard is that they are a prehistoric pelagic fish. They show up every year in the gulf but nodody really knows where they come from. We start seeing them show up usally around late april and they stay around till about october.
