In W's defense, half those fish were caught on plastic, half on finger mullet.

W can't throw a cast net to save his life. I can hit schooling bait @ 20 yards!

yes but they dont make a 2 footer. That would be 4 foot opened and thats still to big:*****::*****:

Jordan 09-01-2009 11:31 AM

might have to use a bait dip net ???

Gerald 09-01-2009 11:58 AM

There is a big difference in a 4' and 5' cast net. Most of the bait fish can out swim a 4' net before they get caught.

If you are throwing a 6' net now......a 5' will feel a lot smaller.

6,5,4 what the hell if I break out anything smaller than 7' I get laughed at! Thats hard on the old arm I need to start hanging with yall.lol

Jordan 09-01-2009 02:15 PM

7' ?? You gotta be on a crusie ship to sling that wad of lead !!!! Jesus... i throw a 6'er about 70 times and im ready to put the boat on the trailer and head to the house !!!

Ray 09-02-2009 04:52 PM

I caint chunk a cast net worth a crap either.

scatv 09-02-2009 10:30 PM

I find the bigger the net easier it is to throw, its dumping it out that the problem comes in. Thats why I switched from a 8' to a 7'. A buddy of mine has a 12' I threw it a few times that things a beast.
