I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in Feb 2010,it was a long hard battle and he stayed faithful through it all!! (he was a preacher) It was very hard seeing him in that much pain but we rejoice for where he is now! Will send a prayer his way. I lost my sister 12-1-10 to pancreatic cancer, she made 8 months after finding out she had it. She was 41, makes you realize that everyday isn't promised to you. By the way Bird Dog we participated last year and going to this year, at the Pancreatic Cancer walk called "Purple Stirde" It will be held in Lake Charles at the Prien Lake Park. It helps raise money for the cause and my wife made a team up for my sister. Anyone interested in participating you can PM me and I'll hook you up w/info. Date of walk is 12-3-11.

Thank you all for the responses, thoughts, prayers, and support. So many times we pray for people or situations and never hear anymore. Just wanted to let y'all know Mr. Bill passed last night at 10:30pm.
He was a great friend and fishing partner to me for almost 30 yrs.

RIP Mr. Bill

I sure hate to hear of your loss, H. It sounds like your friend lived a great, full life. Now, as on my grandad's headstone, He's fishin' in a better place.
