Sendin prayers that way Corey!

southern151 11-30-2010 11:58 AM

Again, I can't thank you guys enough!

As far as closing the shop up, it's not a real possibility. With insurance companies and a new dealer we picked up(our first of what is hopefully many repairs!), they don't much care what's going on. It's just business, I guess. Dad and I discussed it last night and he basically told me to get on the horse and ride. I guess it's just the way that our family has always operated. Kinda hard to explain.

I am tired as who knows what right now but, driven! Between Dad's get yo arse to work speech and the great showing of support from you guys and my wife, it's all gonna pan out. I appreciate everything you guys have had to say and I believe in the power of prayer! Keep em comin ladies and gentlemen! I know my head's been down all day, praying for a good outcome!

Prayers sent from here too. Your dad sounds like the kind of man we all hope to be.

LPfishnTIM 11-30-2010 10:19 PM

hey, Corey if you need any help let me know, I'll keep you in my prayers.

southern151 11-30-2010 10:20 PM

Thanks to all of you. He goes in for a scope in the morning and we'll know exactly what the plan of attack will be then. He is in great spirits and has "I'm gonna beat this" attitude! I feel a lot better about the situation now than I did this morning. My mind is still way off but, I'm feeling better about an outcome.

Gotta chuckle bout him really. I went to see him tonight when I finally got out of the shop and he was asking about this job and that one. I went rambling on about where everything was at and asked what I needed to do tomorrow when he went in for his scope. His reply was pretty simple really..."Go to work!"

He's as strong as an ox, stubborn as a mule and as down to the fact as a drill sargeant!

Thanks to all of you! Thanks for the calls and the offers of help, advice, support and mostly, the prayers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

UPDATE!!>>>

Just a quick update. They did a scope on him this morning and found two blockages in one artery. One was about 50% and the other one, well, the grim reaper was knocking on the door. The good news is that it is a common artery to have this happen in and that they are only having to do a stint! They aren't sure if it will be tomorrow or Friday that they do the surgery.

This sure beats the heck out of them having to cut him open! Is he out of the woods yet?...NO but, this is a huge relief to all the family!! There are going to have to be some diet and lifestyle changes made but, I'd rather LIFEstyle changes than the alternative!

God bless each of you for all the support and calls. Heck, I've even got Eman out parts hunting for me right now. You are the man, Eman! Keep praying please and thanks so much for everything to date! You guys truly are the best!;)

Hey, somebody has to run the camera!:*****::*****: He bares most of the heavy weights around here, I can tell no lie about that.

And yes, Christmas seems to be a little early this year!:D
