I'm going on 4 years with my Lacrosse waders, by far the best ones I've ever had. I've worn these things through everything and don't have the first hole in them.

PUREBAY2200 08-16-2010 08:40 PM

I got hodgeman neoprene, Columbia breathable & Magellan breathable.
Love em all....
Hodgeman are great in serious cold.
The breathable work good in the late fall / early spring.
I wear under armour cold gear top and bottom in the winter.. Never been cold.

Jordan 08-16-2010 08:41 PM

I got a pair of cabelas brand waders. Haven't gotten cold yet. Only had 'em 2 years though

yak'em-n-stack'em 08-16-2010 08:44 PM

how much did those columbias run you?

PUREBAY2200 08-16-2010 09:02 PM

Funny u ask...
.01..... Seriously!!!
1 cent!!
Bought some stuff at academy saw they were on sale for 35$, so I picked em up.
Rang up for .01 ...... I never said a word to the cashier.
Lol

yak'em-n-stack'em 08-16-2010 09:04 PM

hahahahaha

PUREBAY2200 08-16-2010 09:08 PM

Yea, deal of the year so far!
Lol
I really like em, put a hole in em and W patched em up. Ain't leaked again.
My Magellan are my favorite.. Lots of pockets and more room to move.

hadabite 08-16-2010 09:41 PM

Waders

Cabela's waders for me. Stocking foot and you put a special shoe on top.of the waders. Find that you are more mobile and able to walk the marsh better with this vs. waders with the heavy rubber boot molded in. Been having mine 5-6 years, no problems. Get the thicker neoprene. I think choices used to be 3mm vs 5-6mm thickness. I went with the thicker ones and have held up great. They are hot to wear during warmer weather however.

I havent used them as much the past couple of years, (built some blinds,so not in the water quite as much) but used to stay in the flooded timbers alot. They are at least 5mm thickness-really thick with at 1000 grams of thinsulate, u do not want to hafta wear em in the summer. Very durable though.
